We’re so excited to share that we'll be tying the knot in an intimate backyard ceremony the day before our reception. Join us as we celebrate our marriage with a night of dancing, drinking and merriment on May 15th!
Columbus Brewing Company (CBC): 200 Kelton Ave, Columbus
Brewery in our neighborhood (walkable from the house) where we had our engagement party. Great food, even better beer - get the Kung Pao Brussels, you won't regret it!
East Market: 212 Kelton Ave, Columbus
Food Hall next door to CBC with ~20 different food stalls, with a variety of cuisines. There is The Railhouse Bar in the back where you can eat your food & grab a drink or head to the 2nd floor for plenty of tables to spread out! Our favorites are Taste of Greece and Moroccan Street food & KOSO, but you can't go wrong with any of the vendors!
Gemut Beer Garden: 734 Oak St, Columbus
Beautiful outdoor beer garden with bomb German food & beer (Pilsner or Hefeweizen are our favorites) inside an old fire station.
The Oracle: 1159 Oak St, Columbus
Our favorite neighborhood cocktail bar with a backyard & firepits (Sazerac & Negroni are our top order)
Enjoy the park and Conservatory our neighborhood was named after! It's 4 blocks north of our house & an excellent way to spend an hour or two.
Dirty Frank's Hot Dog Palace: 248 S 4th St #252
Jay's dad Dan's favorite! Hot Dogs galore (almost all dogs can be made vegan, so Kir had no excuse...), bomb fries and an ice cold PBR (Miller Lite).
The Eagle: 790 N High St, Columbus
While it's not the OG Eagle in OTR Cincy, it was one of Kirsten's dad Steve's favorites. Fried Chicken, classic southern sides & tons of beer.
Goodale Station: 77 E Nationwide Blvd, Columbus
Rooftop restaurant/bar of the Canopy (hotel of our room block). Open 4pm until 11pm on Thursday & 1am on Friday.
Central Market House: 77 E Nationwide Blvd, Columbus
Restaurant on the first floor of the Canopy - Open for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Jackie O's on Fourth: 171 N 4th St, Columbus
Brewery with great beers & cocktails - serves food (Goood Friends) and has ample outdoor space.
North Market: 59 Spruce St, Columbus
149y/o public market with 30 different vendors serving up delicious food/snacks/gifts/flowers - they've got it all. A true Columbus staple!
If you want good lunch recommendations near the hotel on Friday, reach out ahead of time, there are a ton of great spots within a few blocks!
